Modern Healthcare Names VHA Seventh Best Place to Work in Health Care

IRVING, TX -- (Marketwire) -- 10/26/09 -- VHA Inc., a national health care network, has been named the 7th best place to work in health care by Modern Healthcare magazine. This is the second consecutive year VHA was ranked within the Top 100. In 2008, VHA ranked 76th.

The magazine compiled this year's list using information collected from thousands of health care workers at more than 300 health care companies nationwide, including hospitals, suppliers and service companies. Modern Healthcare asked a series of detailed questions related to:

--  Leadership and planning
--  Culture and communications
--  Quality of working environment
--  Training and development
--  Compensation and benefits
